She creates a playful, relaxed and fun environment to make the entire experience a positive one for everyone involved. When working with children, Anna works at their level and their pace for a fun, no pressure kind of session. The goal is to capture the true personality of your child. WHERE SHOULD I HAVE MY OUTDOOR SESSION?

A child photo session or family photo session can take place anywhere you’d like – a park, a beach, a field, your home, anywhere! Child photo sessions and family photo sessions can be held in any city throughout Rhode Island, East Bay, South County to Southcoast, Massachusetts. If you’re not sure where to hold your session, Anna can make suggestions based on your preferences and goals. Outdoor photo sessions are held at sunrise or just before sunset to ensure beautifully lit portraits.

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING TO MY FAMILY SESSION?

Your sole responsibility will be to get yourself and little ones ready for picture day, a feat in and of itself!  Leave the rest to Anna.  Having photographed a number of families, Anna is well-prepared for any situation that may arise during your time together. Just a few things that help sessions go more smoothly include: quilts and chairs for your family to sit on, noise-makers and toys to entertain your little ones, props and accessories!

Remember, we want your session to be a positive experience for your little ones with as little stress on parents as possible. Let us take care of the details so that you can enjoy these moments with your family.

HOW LONG ARE FAMILY PHOTO SESSIONS?

We believe in giving children ample time to get comfortable because we know that will yield the most genuine expressions and lead to a fun session for all. That’s why our sessions are never rushed. A typical family session lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour. This allows children to acclimate to the environment and to Anna. They’ll have time to play, snack, run around and, in between the fun, have their photographs taken. In Anna’s years of experience working with young families, capturing the individuality of each child and close connection between a family is an art she has mastered. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY OUTDOOR FAMILY SESSION?

To give each family the best service possible, Anna books a limited number of portrait sessions per month. It is recommended that clients book Children & Family Sessions 6-8 weeks in advance and Newborn Sessions at least 8 weeks in advance to ensure availability of preferred dates. Anna will make every effort to accommodate late bookings whenever her schedule permits.
